Huma Abedin, political aide to Hillary Clinton, marrying Alex Soros, son of George Soros, the Democratic Party’s most generous patron, on Saturday drew together a crowd of the wealthy Liberal left to the Hamptons. They picked the most unsettled weekend of the year (decade) with the Israel/Iran conflagration erupting; ‘Not a King’ anti-Trump protests and the assassination of a Minnesota lawmaker. Which stamps the explosive Uranus Algol square Mars as their marriage astro-signature.
Huma Abedin, 28 July 1976, was previously married to Anthony Weiner which union disintegrated under his sexting scandals. She is Muslim with Alex Soros, 27 October 1985, who has taken over the reins from his financier father, of Jewish heritage.
She has Pakistani/Indian parents and grew up partly in Saudi Arabia where her University teacher parents worked. She has a stellium in showy, attention-attracting Leo including a Sun Saturn conjunction plus Venus Mercury and possibly Moon. Her Sun Saturn are sextile Pluto and square Uranus – determined, enduring, stubborn, keen to be taken seriously, can be autocratic.
The relationships to which she is drawn look tricky in the extreme. Her previous husband Anthony Weiner, 4 September 1964, had a controlling and chaotic Sun Pluto Uranus conjunction in Virgo conjunct her Mars in Virgo which was always guaranteed to blow a fuse at some point.
Alex Soros, 27 October 1985, is equally mystifying as a match (birth dates being accurate) – since his stubborn and controlling Sun Pluto in Scorpio is conjunct her Uranus for a clash of agendas; and his Sun Pluto is square her Sun Saturn in Leo for resolute arguments. His Saturn in Scorpio also opposes her Jupiter in Taurus so he will damp her enthusiasm at times.
Their relationship chart does have a passion-sparkling composite Sun, Venus, Mars conjunction which will help initially though it squares Neptune which may puncture a hole in the dream down the line. There is also an up-and-down composite Saturn opposition Jupiter which is being undermined by tr Saturn Neptune hard aspects over the next eighteen months.
