The full moon lunar eclipse will take place on September 7th in the sign of Pisces. The new moon solar eclipse will be on the 21st of September in the sign of Virgo. What is an Eclipse?
An eclipse is when the Sun, Moon and Earth are placed in the same cosmic line, seemingly overlapping and thus blocking the light from one luminary to the next. A lunar eclipse happens during a full moon, this is when the Sun and Moon are 180° apart. With the Earth placed in between, the Sun’s rays are unable to reflect off the Moon, creating a dark moon effect.
