The new year is just a matter of weeks away, and I can tell you that there is a LOT going on astrologically in 2026! However, how can you tell whether astrology will help you to plan your new years resolutions? Perhaps tarot or numerology could be more insightful for you?
I will explain how these methods differ and what each of them can provide.
2026 Numerology Reading
I will begin with numerology as it’s not a tool that I tend to use frequently. For me, as an analytical Aquarius, numerology can lack detail. Although I do love seeing and observing recurring number sequences.
Personal numerological charts can provide insights into business and when best to make important decisions.

In respect of 2026, in numerology this is a number ‘1’ year, which indicates the beginning of a cycle. It’s a great year for starting new relationships and/or businesses. Anything begun this year with expertise, has more likelihood of achieving entrepreneurial success.
Years based on the number ‘1’ are also linked to technology advances.
The most recent ‘1’ year was 2017, so any projects begun then may be ready for completion now. Or it could be that they are due for a refresh and new approach.
2026 Tarot Reading
Tarot is an interesting tool to use for a new year prediction, as it is not static. Every tarot reader will deal out a different set of cards. Perspectives will vary and so will interpretations.
However, if you read tarot yourself, there is great merit in creating a personal new year reading. Or consulting a tarot reader for them to provide a 2026 prediction for you.

One of the best ways to make a choice is to decide first and then see how you feel. The Fool informs us that action will be well rewarded this year. Do not fear mistakes, try out new approaches.
2026 Astrology Reading
As those who know me are aware, I would always choose astrology for predictions. Whilst the answers provided by astrology are less straight-forwards, they are the most accurate.
Astrology is an amazingly insightful tool which represents all areas of life and its nuances. However, for true depth, you do need to consult an astrologer. Accuracy will always be best provided by a deep analysis of your personal astrology chart.
Prediction for 2026 Reading

2026 is a massive year astrologically and a lot could be analysed. I’ll keep it simple by focusing upon Saturn and Neptune meeting up in early Aries.
Saturn will re-enter Aries on 13 February 2026 until April 2028.
Saturn doesn’t function naturally in Aries, as the staunchness of Saturn suppresses the impulsivity of Aries. People will feel more frustrated and impatient during this time. Anger will be more prevalent, so finding outlets will be increasingly important. Exercise is so important for physical and mental health and never more than when Saturn is in Aries.
Fitness will be a very noticeable focus in social media and #trending subjects in 2026.
Neptune will precede Saturn into Aries on 26 January (until 2039). Although less tense, Neptune in Aries isn’t a natural energy and brings together unusual components.
Neptune in Aries will encourage more pioneering creativity and be great for music and film. However, it will also bring malaise and passivity to those who are usually very action-oriented.
Spirituality will become more popular again, as people realise that faith in something makes life more meaningful.
On 20 February 2026, Saturn and Neptune will join up at zero Aries. This is very powerful energy and will form a backdrop for the whole of 2026. This is also the beginning of a whole new cycle, at the first degree of the zodiac no less!
Saturn and Neptune together blend contrary elements. Saturn represents structure, rules and tradition and Neptune is vague, idealistic and visionary. Together these energies can create amazingly innovations and ideas. However, the differing values are more likely to represent disconnect and disagreements initially.
These conjunctions occur every 36-37 years, with the last one occurring in 1989 in Capricorn. The last time Saturn and Neptune met up in Aries was 1703 and coincided with major weather disruptions and the founding of St Petersburg in Russia.
The Eclipses of 2026
The dates of eclipses in 2026 will be:
17 February 2026 – Annular Solar Eclipse at 28°59′ Aquarius. We can expect humanitarian issues to rise to the fore at this time. Technology will also be in the spotlight, along with issues around personal freedom.
3 March 2026 – Total Lunar Eclipse at 12°54′ Virgo, opposite the Sun at 12°54′ Pisces. Virgo can be ultra critical, so there may be contention at this time. We can also expect breakthroughs in health and wellbeing however.
12 August 2026 – Total Solar Eclipse at 20°02′ Leo. This eclipse shines a brighter light on political leaders. Scandals may be uncovered and there will be some large-scale events in the media.
28 August 2026 – Partial Lunar Eclipse at 4°54′ Pisces opposite the Sun at 4°54′ Virgo. The Pisces energy implies that there will be some theme tunes this Summer. Expect some massive film and music events in 2026. Some of these may retrospective, sentimental resurgences.
