The 8th house is the Karma reflector.
HOW KARMA CHASES IN ONE LIFE
We see an example:

The 8th house is Capricorn, and its lord is Saturn.
The 11th house is Aries, and its lord is Mars.
The previous birth Karma Planets are Saturn and Mars.
Both Planets, Saturn, and Mars coincide in Leo.
Leo is the 3rd house from Gemini.
He struggled with the Past Karma.
Due to a family misunderstanding, he was shot by his younger brother on 22.4.2006.
Mercury is in the Chithra star, and its lord is Mars.
Mars is in the Magha star, and its lord is Ketu.
So, during the Mercury Dasa Ketu sub-period, he lost his life due to Bad Past Karma.
